We of the Senior Class of Black Star High School anno dominum 1937, being of unsound mind and reasonable health do give and bequeath the following attributes to the class of '38;
John Hughes hands down his geat football ability to J. B. Sexton. J. B. will need it when he goes out for water boy;
Willard Phipps wills his position as Camptain of the '37 basketball team to Henry Carter;
Lee Land will, gratis, to Harvey Eads his excess tonnage. Harvey will need it when he gets through GEOMETRY;
Woodrow Terrell wills his right of love making to Caudill Barnette; (Better keep it Woodie, Caudille will get himself a girl in the future)
Don Thomas bequeaths his candy store to Bob Reynolds; (Don says that Goldie doesn't go in the bargin)
Eloise Greene wills her beloved boy friend (Bill Carroll) to Gladys Ellwood -- until Eloise finishes college;
Lois Freeman wills her sweet disposition to Henry Carter;
Sylvai Mae Fraim wishes to leave the Basketball Crown in her dear old Alma Mater so she passes it on to Pruda Reed;
Ollie Montgomery bestows her wonderful psychological ability to Tom Elliott; (He will need all the psychology he can get before he gets that diploma)
Nannie Powers Johnson wishes to will her marriage certificate to Goldie Sexton. (Goldie you had better take it; you can get a high school diploma after you get a home of your own)
Joey Keyes wishes to will Cleda Steele her wonderful grades in Home Economics;
Stella Hackler bequeaths her basketball ability to Dennis Taylor; (The '38 basketball team will need it)
